Zgodnie z Komunikatem Prorektora UŁ ds. nauki dotyczącym systemu ScienceON od 15.09.2023 r. Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego wprowadza dane o wszystkich publikacjach wydanych przez siebie...
O unikatowości publikacji świadczy jej tematyka. Monografia wskazuje bowiem na najważniejsze kierunki ewolucji i zjawiska w procesach integracyjnych w XXI w., koncentrując się głównie na ostatniej dekadzie. Na rynku wydawniczym brakuje obecnie pozycji, która w sposób tak kompleksowy przedstawiałaby aktualne problemy i wyzwania (m.in. Brexit, pandemia COVID-19, rozpad NAFTA) stojące przez integrującymi się gospodarczo regionami na całym świecie. Treść publikacji zawiera nie tylko typowo akademickie rozważania, ale stanowi źródło licznych przykładów i odwołań do rzeczywistych procesów integracyjnych. Tym samym uwiarygadnia przedstawione w opracowaniu teorie i poglądy, omawiane w literaturze przedmiotu.
W monografii dokonano krytycznego przeglądu teorii, dokumentów źródłowych i badań empirycznych dotyczących omawianego zagadnienia. Przegląd ten ma charakter interdyscyplinarny, gdyż w odniesieniu do procesów integracyjnych konieczne jest badanie zarówno kwestii politycznych, jak i gospodarczych, społecznych oraz prawnych.
Praktyczne ujęcie tematu sprawia, że odbiorcą książki może być szerokie grono Czytelników, m.in. akademicy, studenci kierunków ekonomicznych, w tym specjalności o profilu międzynarodowym, czy każdy zainteresowany problematyką integracji gospodarczej we współczesnym świecie. Publikacja jest zatem przydatna zarówno dla teoretyków, jak i praktyków zajmujących się badaniem zjawisk i skutków procesów integracyjnych, może być również wykorzystana jako podręcznik akademicki.
