Zgodnie z Komunikatem Prorektora UŁ ds. nauki dotyczącym systemu ScienceON od 15.09.2023 r. Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego wprowadza dane o wszystkich publikacjach wydanych przez siebie...
W polskiej nauce prawa konstytucyjnego ustroje krajów Azji Południowo-Wschodniej były dotychczas pomijane. W monografii przedstawiono zarys funkcjonowania systemów konstytucyjnych wybranych demokracji w tym regionie.
Podczas dokonywania wyboru państw poddanych badaniom najistotniejsze znaczenie miał wpływ systemu konstytucyjnego państw-kolonizatorów na współczesny kształt państwa. Przeanalizowano więc systemy konstytucyjne Malezji i Singapuru, które przyjęły parlamentarno-gabinetowy system rządów wzorowany na modelu westminsterskim. Z kolei Timor Wschodni, który przyjął konstytucję silnie wzorowaną na ustawie zasadniczej Portugalii, pozostaje istotnym punktem odniesienia dla Singapuru. Tajlandię natomiast wyróżnia to, że nigdy w znaczeniu formalnym nie została skolonizowana, jednak - zarówno przyjmując pierwszą konstytucję w 1932 roku, jak i drugą w 2007 roku - korzystała z modelu westminsterskiego.
Zaprezentowane rozważania stanowią wstęp do dalszych badań nad systemami konstytucyjnymi państw Azji Południowo-Wschodniej, a przede wszystkim umożliwiają analizę funkcji parlamentów w omawianych demokracjach.
