Wprowadzamy dane do ScienceON
Zgodnie z Komunikatem Prorektora UŁ ds. nauki dotyczącym systemu ScienceON od 15.09.2023 r. Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego wprowadza dane o wszystkich publikacjach wydanych przez siebie...
Umasowienie szkolnictwa wyższego zapewniło miastom dostęp do nowej, licznej grupy konsumentów – studentów. W konsekwencji wiele ośrodków akademickich przeistoczyło się w ostatnich dekadach w swoiste „miasta studentów”. Struktury gospodarcze i przestrzenne takich miast funkcjonują i rozwijają się dzięki zaspokajaniu potrzeb konsumenckich młodzieży akademickiej. Biorcami rosnącej populacji studentów okazały się jednak nie tylko ośrodki o ugruntowanej tradycji akademickiej, ponieważ studenci stali się także użytkownikami miast zdominowanych niegdyś przez produkcję przemysłową.
W książce przedstawiono szeroko zakrojone studium porównawcze dwóch poprzemysłowych miast akademickich – Łodzi i Turynu – w którym kluczowe znaczenie przypisano badaniu ankietowemu nad zachowaniami konsumenckimi studentów. Miało ono na celu określenie roli tych zachowań w rozwoju gospodarczym i przestrzennym obu ośrodków. Analizie poddano trzy wymiary zachowań konsumenckich studentów – gospodarczy, przestrzenny i czasowy – na rynkach edukacyjnym, mieszkaniowym, handlowym, transportowym, gastronomicznym oraz usług czasu wolnego.
