is an interesting and original approach to understand a phenomenon of dreams. Kołłątaj, as a
great supporter of empiricism, wanted to show (using his own dreams as examples) links between dreams,
imagination and the senses. His text, written in prison, combines an autobiography and a treatise, which
is a very interesting issue, especially when we take into consideration his poems and the philosophical
context of the Age of The Enlightenment.
