The article explores the subject of Polish-Mother and a myth of died Son-Solider in the Contemporary
Polish drama. On examples of Dziady. Ekshumacja and Bitwa warszawska 1920 by Paweł Demirski,
Trash Story by Magdalena Fertacz, Chłopiec malowany by Piotr Rowicki, Gorączka czerwcowej nocy by
Tomasz Śpiewak and III Furie by Sylwia Chutnik, Magdalena Fertacz and Małgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk,
author tries to characterise different, critical methods of this myth representation. Author applies
memory and theatre studies to attempt a critical interpretation of dramatic strategies that authors uses.
