Status Jerozolimy a konflikt bliskowschodni

The question of the final status of Jerusalem and Holly Places is one of the most important issues in the Israeli-Palestinians conflict. Up to this moment, the final solution of this problem has not been found. The problem of territorial status of this City is one of the most important elements of the future Israeli-Palestine agreement. Both sides claimed its own right to possess the Jerusalem and its Holly Palaces inside the borders of their states (in case of Palestine — inside the future state territory). The main aim of this paper is to present the role that is played by the question of who should control Jerusalem during the phases of whole Middle Eastern conflict. The other task of this paper is to find an answer on question if there is any opportunity to find such solution of the future status of Jerusalem that will be accepted by the both sides of the conflict. It seems to be the important, but not only one, prerequisite to end the long lasting conflict between Jews and Palestinians.
