Zgodnie z Komunikatem Prorektora UŁ ds. nauki dotyczącym systemu ScienceON od 15.09.2023 r. Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego wprowadza dane o wszystkich publikacjach wydanych przez siebie...
W pracy omówiono teorie wpływu przekupstwa na wybrane wielkości makroekonomiczne. Zaprezentowane zostały najważniejsze poglądy na temat oddziaływania łapownictwa na gospodarkę. Przedstawiono kluczowe argumenty za pozytywnym jak i negatywnym wpływem korupcji na gospodarkę. Autorka omówiła również temat optymalnego poziomu przekupstwa. Teoretyczne argumenty za wpływem łapownictwa na gospodarkę zostały poparte przeglądem badań przeprowadzonych nad wpływem korupcji na wybrane zmienne makroekonomiczne. Koncepcja nieliniowego wpływu korupcji na podstawowe wielkości makroekonomiczne może dobrze godzić teoretyczne argumenty postulujące negatywne oddziaływanie przekupstwo na gospodarkę oraz możliwość wystąpienia pozytywnych skutków łapownictwa w gospodarce. Z jednej strony istotny jest fakt, że kontrola łapownictwa sprzyja wzrostowi gospodarczemu, zachęca do inwestowania, przyciąga nowe technologie, a w konsekwencji prowadzi do ograniczenia ubóstwa. Z drugiej strony, faktem jest, że całkowite wyeliminowanie korupcji nie jest możliwe, a teorie o możliwości wystąpienia pozytywnych skutków pod względem ekonomicznym korupcji są racjonalne. Spór o to, czy przekupstwo szkodzi czy wspiera gospodarkę jest bodajże najistotniejszym sporem prezentowanym w literaturze dotyczącej oddziaływania korupcji.
