Byzantina Lodziensia

The series publishes books by scholars associated with the Department of Byzantine History at the University of Lodz. The first editor of the series was Prof. Waldemar Ceran. Individual works cover the political, cultural, religious, and social history of the Byzantine Empire in Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages, as well as Byzantine literature with a particular emphasis on historiography. The authors also explore the history of churches and religious groups in the Byzantine world; as well as the everyday life of Byzantium.
