100 Years of Independence

Series published by Lodz University Press in cooperation with the Institute of National Remembrance, the Museum for the Traditions of Independence, and the State Archive in Lodz. Each book commemorates the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence in 1918 and preserves collective historical knowledge about the origins and processes of rebuilding the country after the Great War in Polish collective consciousness. We want to contribute to a multifaceted debate on the dramatic fate of Polish sovereignty in the past century.
